Lynn's Personal Story
"I’ve always eaten pretty
well and enjoyed exercising. However, when I look back
at the past few years, it's clear to me that my body was
providing many signs of imbalance, and my diet really
wasn’t a nourishing one.
"I ignored the subtle
signs: strong sugar cravings, fatigue, irritability,
anxiety, acne, and bloating. Overall, I felt
disconnected from my body; fragmented, stuck, and
seriously lacking confidence. I also used food to deal
with emotions and stress, and adopted a distorted view
of food as "the enemy," rather than a means to nourish.
Then came the back pain. This really got me to pay
attention, and I started exploring all of the ways I
could find to heal myself.
